Travel Tips
When traveling with plastic bottles full of shampoo or other liquids, place the bottles inside Ziploc bags to prevent leakage.  Also, remember not to fill bottles all the way, as a change in altitude or air pressure could cause the contents to come bubbling over the top when you open them.
Ask the Experts
I’m going to Europe this summer and I’m concerned about protecting my money and valuables.  What’s the best way to keep my possessions safe?

That’s a great question and applies to traveling anywhere.  First of all, leave your valuables, like good jewelry or expensive watches at home.  I’d recommend getting a security pouch or money belt in which to carry your passport, plane tickets, credit cards, cash, and travelers checks.  Wear it inside your clothes.  To keep from having to pull it out every time you buy something, keep enough local currency for the day in your pocket.  If you have to get inside your money belt, do so in a restroom or someplace out of public view.  If you’re staying in hostels or marginal accommodations, sleep with your money belt on.  If you’re trekking or doing other strenuous activity, you can put your paper valuables inside a small Ziploc bag inside the money belt to prevent everything from getting sweaty.

Just For Fun
The bus was crowded and there was a commotion among the passengers who wanted to get off and those who wanted to get on.  When the driver noticed a young man elbowing everyone else aside, he cried, "Wait, please!"  The young man quickly replied, “Two hundred pounds,” and jumped on the bus.
