Alex Marshall

Alex is CIL’s Senior Partner, focusing on how the firm works with its clients and approaches its markets. He leads CIL’s Financial Services practice and co-leads the Business Services practice, bringing over 20 years’ consulting experience.

Alex has worked across a wide range of financial services sectors, including lending, insurance, wealth management, and payments. In the business services space, his experience spans professional services, human capital, BPO, property services, logistics, and document management.

Before joining CIL, Alex was a consultant at specialist financial services strategy firm First Consulting, where he worked on strategy engagements across the UK and Europe.

Alex holds an MA in Languages from the University of Cambridge. Outside of work, he’s a keen musician, a voracious reader, and enjoys spending time outdoors.
