James Silk

James is a Partner at CIL and focuses on the firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences practice. He has deep experience across the sector, working in areas such as acute services, medical products, supplies and distribution, dental, funerals, and veterinary services.

Prior to joining CIL in 2012, James worked with Middle Eastern investors and was a Corporate Finance Analyst at Houlihan Lokey.

James was named in the Health Investor Power List from 2022 to 2025, recognizing his influence and contribution to the healthcare sector.

He holds an MA in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
