Matt Symonds

Matt is the Chair of CIL, supporting the senior leadership team as the firm continues to grow and expand its international presence. He brings a wealth of consulting experience and is focused on helping CIL build deeper expertise in areas such as value creation and pricing, while strengthening its position in key markets like the US.

Before joining CIL, Matt was a senior partner at Bain & Company, where he led the UK Financial Services practice. He is also a co-Founder and Partner at Altair, where he acts as a trusted adviser and coach to CEOs and leadership teams across private and multinational businesses.

In addition to his role at CIL, Matt sits on the boards of the global investigative firm Nardello & Co. and the UK law firm Howard Kennedy.
