Top 100 Management Consultancies Methodology
Management Today’s Top 100 Management Consultancies focuses exclusively on firms that engage primarily in management consulting, or where the management consulting function is significant enough to constitute a major operation in its own right. In addition to scale and remit, profitability or potential profitability over time and reputation were considered, as well as the expert opinions of the judges.
For the purposes of this ranking, management consulting is defined as the provision of strategic or operational advice to businesses aimed at transforming their profitability, changing their business model, achieving greater efficiency, reorganizing their structures and systems, or facilitating their entry into new markets. It may include elements of data and market analysis. It does not include the design and implementation of software, brand consulting, service design, or product design, though these services may also be offered by the listed firms.
