CIL competes in the 8 Hour Cycle Challenge in aid of Missing People

CIL is delighted to announce that it raised nearly £5,000 in aid of Missing People following an eight-hour endurance cycle challenge around Brands Hatch circuit.

CIL’s two cycling teams helped Missing People surpass its £10,000 target and raise over £23,000 in total, which will go towards the amazing work they carry out.

Missing People is a charity CIL has partnered with since 2015. They are a lifeline for the 180,000 children and adults that go missing each year in the UK and the loved ones they leave behind. They provide free, confidential support, help, and advice by phone, email, text, and online.

CIL took home 5th place overall, completing 64 laps of Brands Hatch in eight hours with CIL’s Simon Mocatta doing his fastest hill-climb in just 15.3 minutes – an impressive feat on the very hilly course!

We would like to thank all of the CIL team members and other teams who took part – we very much look forward to taking part again next year. To support Missing People and read more about their remarkable work, you can donate here.
